The Jackson Hole Conservation Alliance is looking for an inspiring Community Planning Intern to assist with Community Planning initiatives and research in support of environmental conservation!
About the Role:
As our Community Planning Intern, you will assist the Community Planning Director and the rest of the Alliance staff in advancing our mission. The ideal Planning Intern should have strong written and oral communication skills, an interest in research and learning, in addition to being a motivated self-starter with a demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- The Community Planning Intern will perform a variety of professional, technical, analytical and administrative support work.
- The internship is designed to provide quality and applicable experience in the day-to-day functions of conservation advocacy and community planning.
About You:
- Detail-oriented, organized, and ready to learn.
- Education in environmental studies, community planning, or related fields.
- Collaborative team player with a passion for conservation.
- Knowledge of environmental issues relevant to Jackson Hole is a plus.
- Motivated and able to meet deadlines independently.
- Available to be in-office Tuesday – Thursday, 9am-5pm

- Paid internship: $20-25/hr depending on experience (DOE)
