This week we are delighted to spotlight our incredible supporter and Advisory Council member, Geneva Chong! Geneva has called Jackson home since 2003. She has been an active member of the Jackson Hole community, serving in the Town Planning Commission in 2006 and being a part of the Comprehensive Plan revision.
Geneva was persuaded to join the Alliance after befriending then Executive Director, Franz Camenzind, shortly after moving to Jackson. She has been involved in several key Alliance campaigns, including Snow King and the ongoing development of Northern South Park. Geneva is very passionate about helping build a strong and resilient community through a smart growth pattern that allows people, wildlife and natural ecosystem to thrive.
Over the years, Geneva has watched the Alliance successfully transform into a more energetic and proactive organization. Although Jackson Hole has changed a lot, she believes that this new energy – along with an ability to communicate a powerful message – will allow the Alliance to continue bringing people in the community together around shared conservation values and rise up to meet the challenge of keeping Jackson wild and whole.
Thank you for your support and everything you do for us, Geneva!
