Development Director
Carter moved to Jackson Hole in 2011 following several years in California and Texas. After graduating from the University of Southern California with a B.A. in Communications, Carter continued her studies obtaining a J.D. from Southern Methodist University School of Law. She spent several years practicing law, which included Chapter 11 reorganizations as well as corporate law.
Upon moving to Jackson Hole, she gladly accepted the position as the Development Manager at Habitat for Humanity. Following her time at Habitat, she went on to the Club at 3 Creek where she was the Director of Marketing and Membership Sales. She is happy to be back in the nonprofit community and is looking forward to working to protect the character of this very special valley and the wildlife that we share it with. She enjoys hiking, rafting, snowboarding, traveling and, really, any adventure that she gets to share with her beloved dog, Stevie.
