Mike’s Jackson Hole tale begins with a somewhat familiar refrain: he moved here for a “summer” after college and never left.
“Since the day I stepped foot in the valley I knew it was home and like any home Jackson needs safeguarding, proper maintenance and regular care, which is why I’m excited to be working with the Jackson Hole Conservation Alliance.”
An Illinois native, Mike has been in the public relations field for the past fifteen years and enjoys representing clients whose products he’s come to know and trust during many “testing” missions on Jackson’s trails, slopes and waterways. A past JHCA board member (2003-2006), Mike returned to the Board with the mindset of giving back to the community that has given him so much.
“The mission of the Alliance – to protect the wildlife, wild places and community character of Jackson Hole – is essential in order for us to leave a better tomorrow for future generations. I’m incredibly encouraged by the team and leadership in place at the Alliance and think we have the opportunity to not only leave a positive mark in the Jackson Hole community, but to be a model for communities worldwide working to balance conservation and smart growth.”
An avid biker, skier and outdoorsman, Mike lives in South Park with his wife, two daughters and one very “talkative” heeler mix.
