Amy Kuszak

Community Planning Director

Raised in western NY, Amy has spent time in New York City, San Diego, and New Mexico before settling in Jackson Hole.

Amy has worked in Teton County in a variety of Planning roles over the past two decades. She was a member of the Teton County Planning Department for nearly nine years as a Senior Planner and Environmental Planner. Prior to that, she was an environmental analyst and wetland scientist for Pioneer Environmental Services in Jackson. She has experience with local, state, and federal environmental policy and regulations.

Kuszak has also worked as a self-employed Environmental Planner, focusing on Teton County’s Natural Resource Overlay, coordinating local and Federal document preparation, and preparing permit documentation for public and private development projects.

Amy also has experience as a GIS analyst and a transportation planner. She holds a BS in Geography and Anthropology from the City University of New York at Hunter College and did herUniversity graduate study at San Diego State in Geography, focused on Resource and Environmental Quality.

Amy lives in Wilson with her husband, three children, 2 dogs, and a cat. She loves to be outside hiking, biking, skiing, paddle boarding, backpacking, and camping.
