Alliance 40th Anniversary Party
August 8, 2019 at 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm
FreeThe Jackson Hole Conservation Alliance has spent 40 years protecting the wildlife, wild places, and community character of Jackson Hole. Help us celebrate! Please join us for the Alliance 40th Anniversary Party on August 8 at the Center for the Arts. See our new short film and hear reflections from Alliance members on conservation efforts past, present, and future. View the “Conservation Collection” – unique artwork generously contributed by local artists with a passion for conservation – and bid to take a piece home in our silent auction of art and more. Gather with Alliance friends over food, drinks, and music.
In our 40th year, we want to welcome 40 new members (or more!)
We couldn’t do our work without our members and their ongoing support. Our members support us financially, but even more importantly they add strength to our voice and our work to protect what we love about our community.
We want to say thank you to our current members, and offer a sweet deal for new members to join at our 40th Anniversary Party. Buy a new hat with art by Abby Paffrath for only $24.99, and it comes with a new membership! We have 9 different designs to choose from, featuring the Alliance 40th logo on the side. Support the Alliance and get an awesome hat for less than the retail price.
The Conservation Collection & Silent Auction
For over a century, people have been using art to capture and express the wonder of the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem. Throughout its 40 years as an organization, the Alliance has teamed up with artists to convey important messages, spread inspiration, and fundraise. This year, 25 local artists have contributed over 30 pieces to build the Conservation Collection, and we couldn’t be more excited to share it with you. We’ve held a series of art openings to showcase parts of the collection, including an art show on August 1 at Cowboy Coffee. Be sure to check out our partner galleries from 10am-6pm: Teton ArtLab’s West Weird, Altamira Fine Art, and Astoria Fine Art. Then, the entire Conservation Collection will be on display and up for silent auction at our 40th Anniversary Party, 6-9pm on August 8 at the Center for the Arts.
And the silent auction will have more than art! Over 20 local businesses and community members have generously donated items and experiences such as fine Italian wines, luxurious staycations, wellness and fitness packages, and outdoor adventures. Come, bid, tell your friends – you’re sure to find something awesome!
