COMMUNITY MEETING: Keep Targhee Inbounds
May 12 at 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm

Grand Targhee Resort is proposing a massive expansion that will negatively impact the environment, community, wildlife, and public land recreation access. The US Forest Service has published a 625-page Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS). Community members can influence the US Forest Service’s decision on the Targhee expansion proposal by submitting substantive comments about the DEIS before June 20 here.
Local nonprofits have formed a coalition to advocate for keeping Grand Targhee right-sized. The coalition will host two public meetings for community members to learn the major issues and best practices for effective comment writing. Come to either or both meetings.
