We had an absolute blast at our Party for Public Lands.
We had over 20 partners join us. Dozens of postcards and letters were written to Wyoming state representatives in support of a Wyoming Public Lands Day. We raised funds to support the Keep it Public, Wyoming coalition and the work all the partners do to support and defend our public lands here in Wyoming. And the nearly 400 people who joined us on Wednesday, September 6, left feeling more inspired and ready to take action.
The Party would not have been possible without a lot of individuals, partners, and businesses coming together in support of one of the great Wyoming treasures we are lucky to use every day: our public lands. So thank you to our sponsors –Stio, Grand Teton Brewing, The Wilderness Society, and Sinclair Communications–, our partners too numerous to list, our volunteers and members, the raffle item donors– Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, Grand Targhee Resort, Classic Air Medical, Stio, and BrushBuck Wildlife Tours–, Jason Tyler Burton for music, all those who attended, and especially to Conrad Anker, Jenni Lowe-Anker, and Max Lowe for giving a fantastic presentation on how public lands have shaped their lives.
We are already looking forward to our next opportunity to partner with all these groups in the near future.
