The first Old Bill’s Fun Run since 2019 took place on Saturday, September 10. It was a beautiful, sunny day with a wonderful turnout.
On Saturday, September 10, the community of Jackson Hole came together to celebrate the first Old Bill’s Fun Run since 2019. It seemed like the whole community turned out to run/walk, visit with friends and stop by the hundreds of nonprofit tents set up on the Jackson Elementary School Field.
The event officially began with the Jackson Hole Community Band playing the national anthem. Then, the runners and walkers lined up at the starting line and took off along the race course that took them through town. Many participants wore costumes, including our Don’t Poach the Powder Ambassador, Jean Claude Van Ram.
There were also slides, a rock-climbing wall, live animals, and many fun games, with a highlight being the diaper derby featuring many competitive babies crawling towards the finish line.
Thank you to all who stopped by our tent and to those of you who donated to the Alliance during Old Bill’s giving season. We are grateful for your support and generosity that helps us protect the wildlife, wild places, and community character of Jackson Hole.
