Sending healing wishes to Grizzly 610 and her two cubs.

Sending healing wishes to Grizzly 610 and her two cubs.

After allegedly being hit by a car on Monday in Grand Teton National Park, Grizzly 610 recovered for hours on the side of the road and then walked off, with no obvious injuries, reuniting with her cubs. The Alliance hopes more encouraging signs of 610’s health will ensure she will recover from this incident.

In respect for 610 and the many cubs she and her mom (grizzly 399) have brought into this world, we will share some never before seen images of 610 and her two cubs from 2015. These images, captured on a game camera on a moose carcass documents how 610 taught her two cubs of the year how to roll, open and eat a moose. If you look closely, you can also see a picture where 610 is sitting up and nursing her cubs who are still taking some milk in their first summer.

To the health of 610 and our other beloved grizzlies!
