Snow King Study Hall: Understanding the Forest Service’s Environmental Review Process

Do you want Snow King to succeed as our Town Hill, not an amusement park? Are you unsure how the Forest Service does environmental review under the National Environmental Protection Act (NEPA)? Join us at the Alliance office (685 S Cache St) on August 20 at noon for a lunchtime workshop. We will:

• Introduce the Environmental Impact Statement process
• Share an overview of the proposal by Snow King’s current owners
• Explain how you can most effectively make a difference through your comments, due September 4.

We will provide lunch to those who RSVP below.

Can’t make it? We are also hosting two more drop-in sessions at our office so you can get questions answered on the spot as you’re working on your comments. Come by for breakfast from 8-10am on August 24 or happy hour from 5-6pm on August 30!
