Early voting for the upcoming primary election has begun in Teton County! From now until Election Day on Tuesday, August 21, Teton County residents can cast an early ballot for the primary election. The results of this election will determine what Town Council, County Commission, Wyoming State Legislative, and US Congress candidates will advance to the general election in November.Voter turnout for the primary election tends to be low, and often the races can be determined by only a handful of votes. No matter how you vote, it’s important to get involved and make your voice heard.
Did you know voting early is easy and convenient? You don’t even need to be registered beforehand! Just bring any form of ID (yes, even an out-of-state license) to the Teton County Clerk’s office (200 South Willow St in Jackson) where you can register and vote in the same visit. Voting hours are Monday-Friday 9 AM-5 PM.
