The federal Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act will provide $27M to Wyoming to build general electric vehicle (EV) projects throughout the state.
In November of 2021 the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act was passed. This act will provide $7.5 billion towards general electric vehicle projects and Wyoming will get $27 million dollars. One of the main uses of this funding is to install EV charging stations around the state, both along designated alternative fuel corridors and along major tourist travel routes. Installation of these charging stations will create a more reliable infrastructure for EVs to travel within the state. This will be especially beneficial for tourists traveling in EVs as more charging stations will allow visitors to explore local attractions and spend more time in individual towns. We are excited to see the installation of charging stations and the creation of a robust EV travel network.
