With peak traffic season in the rear-view mirror, we have a chance to reflect on what we learned over the summer.
Our consultant, Nelson\Nygaard, did a great job of speaking with local stakeholders and digging into the data to understand the scope of the problem our community faces. We’ve taken the next step of initiating a traffic modeling effort to determine the impact of implementing Transportation Demand Management (increased transit, vanpools, etc.) along with various corridor design alternatives. We’ll use this data to inform the next steps of the campaign – stay tuned!
This Wednesday we’re launching a campaign focused on the proposed Tribal Trail Connector Road. Keep an eye out for our messages in local media! Please reach out to info@jhalliance.org if you’d like to get involved or would like more information on the project. The County will hold a public workshop sometime this fall, and they need to hear how you feel.
