Glamping Septic System Given Green Light by State DEQ

The glamping geodesic domes off of highway 390 just got a boost from the State. Last Friday (7/14), The Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality issued them a permit for a sand mount pressure distribution septic system, despite widespread and vocal local opposition.

The proximity of this wastewater treatment facility to Fish Creek is a major concern for many in the local community, including the Jackson Hole Conservation Alliance.  We will continue to work with our local coalition to fight the state’s view that “counties are the creatures of States” and to enforce our county LDR’s within our county.
