Alliance board member Kirk Davenport is an enthusiastic new member of the Jackson community. Kirk was a securities lawyer in New York City for 32 years until the end of 2016 when he and his wife Peggy (also a lawyer in NYC) decided to pull the plug and make Wilson their home. Like most Jackson residents, they were drawn to the valley because of the wildlife, the natural beauty and the strong sense of community. Kirk joined the Alliance board in 2017 because he feels the Alliance “will help protect the wildlife and the other magical qualities of Jackson Hole that we all love and will be the voice of reason in shaping future community development.”
Kirk also serves on the Board of Trustees of The School Year Abroad, a program founded by Phillips Academy (Exeter), Phillips Academy (Andover) and the St.Paul’s school for adventurous junior and senior high school students seeking to spend a year studying in China, France, Italy or Spain.
Kirk graduated from Brown University in 1981 and received his JD from The University of Michigan Law School in 1984. He is licensed to practice law in New York.
