Teton County has proposed updating small wastewater facilities regulations to protect water quality in Jackson Hole.
The County has announced proposed changes to small wastewater facility regulations. The proposed changes include updated regulations that better align with Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) regulations, an increase in water quality protection, and additional requirements to property owners with septic fields to increase their level of water testing. A 60-day public comment period is open till December 20th after which the draft regulations will go in front of the Board of County Commissioners on December 21st.
