WYDOT Advisory Board Meeting

WYDOT Advisory Board Meeting

The WYDOT Advisory Committee for the WY 22 Corridor held their second meeting this week. The advisory committee is a group of about 12 local government officials, NGOs and private citizens charged with providing WYDOT with recommendations and feedback as they prepare for the NEPA process.

WYDOT is in the planning stages to improve congestion and level of service of WY22 corridor from Jackson to Wilson. Part of this process requires NEPA and the preparation of an Environmental Assessment (EA).

In anticipation of the upcoming EA process, this week’s meeting focused on:

  • Refining the Draft Purpose and Need statement for the EA, and
  • Formulation of the project goals.  The goals will assist in determining the preferred project alternative.

Summary of first meeting is linked here.
